NOTES ON THE OCCURRENCE OF A GIANT NUMMULITE (?) IN THE PHILIPPINES

INTRODUCTION



A fragment of what appears to be a giant Nummulite was found by a field party composed of Messrs. Roberto R. Grey, Froilan Gervasio, Eduardo Vallesteros and Mrs. Pacita Andal and Miss Milagros Villavicencio, while tracing the continuation of the probable upper Paleozoic limestone from Romblon to Buruanga Peninsula, Panay.
