INTRODUCTION
Although there is no commercial
production of petroleum in the
Philippines, seeps are widely
distributed throughout the islands
(Corby, et al., 1951).
This report describes an investigation
of the chemical composition of two
samples of oil. These oils were obtained
through the courtesy of the Philippine
Bureau of Mines. One oil came from
Quezon Province, the other from Mindoro
Oriental.
