ABSTRACT
This paper presents some data regarding
controls of ore deposition in several
Southeast Asian Laterites that have been
studied from a standpoint of economic
feasibility. Topographic control,
lithological control, alteration and
structural control are reviewed from
several observations that have been
obtained during the course of
exploration. The presence of serpentine
in the ultrama/ic rocks may be produced
from weathering, deuteric alteration or
hydrothermal alteration from later
intrusive effects.
